Melanie Gerlis features Larkin Durey in The Art Market, Financial Times, 21 March, 2024

Oliver Durey, previously a partner at Jack Bell gallery, has bought out Bell and renamed the London contemporary art dealership Larkin Durey after himself and his wife, Monica Larkin. "Jack and I had a fantastic run together for 10 years, now I am looking at the next 20 to 30, " Durey says. "We're not experimenting any more." Larkin Durey launched last week with a show of new paintings by the Cameroon artist Marc Padeu ($65,000-$85,000, until April 5). Cassie Vaughan, an artist whose previous roles include director of operations at Timothy Taylor gallery, joins as gallery manager. Bell, who relocated to Australia in 2020, will work as an independent adviser, and he and Durey will continue to work on shared project, Durey says.
